| Notes for Henry Sines |
Henry was in the War of 1812. He was a volunteer in the company commanded by Captain Abraham Hamilton. He was in 16th Regiment of Virginia Volunteers commanded by Colonel Coleman in the war with Great Britian. He volunteered at Michael's Spring near Richmond, Virginia on or about 6/14/1813. He was discharged on or about 12/13/1815 at Camp Crop Roads, Maryland b General Scott.
The 1820 and 1830 census shows Henry and Susanna living in Fairfield County, Ohio. The 1840 and 1850 census shows them in Hancock County, Ohio.
In February 1856 they were in Dubuqe County, Iowa. In June 1856 they were living in Camden Township, Hillsdale County, Michigan. The 1860 census shows them in Williams County, Ohio living next to son Simon Sines. |
