| Notes for George Silas Willey |
George spent his adult life in the printing business. He and Marsha Grant's mother worked at the same military base in California during WWII. She remembers him visiting her family from back East in the late 1950's. He listened to baseball games on the radio. He was a gentle man, with deep faith.
Marsha and her husband visited George in the hospital just before he died. He'd lived with her grandmother for a year or more, and is probably listed on teh 1970 census in her household.
George was Marsha's paternal grandmother's step-father. |
