Obituary: William Thornton Park, a carpenter, died last night at his home, 702 Price Street, Savannah, Mo. He was 66.
Mr. Park was born in Phillipsburg, Kan., and spent his childhood at White Cloud, Kan. In 1920 he moved to Rosendale, Mo., where he resided until moving to Savannah five years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Park of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Thelma Hall, St. Joseph; two brothers, Alex Park, Clay Center, Kan., and Lewis Park, Sappington, Mont.; three sisters, Mrs. Stella Taylor and Mrs. Ada Taylor, both of White Cloud, and Mrs. Zada Porter, Wichita, Kan.
Services will be at the Savannah Christian Church Sunday afternoon at 2, with the Reb. O.H. Lumis officiating. Burial will be at the Olive Branch cemetery, White Cloud, Kan.,
The body is at teh Heaton-Bowman funeral home and will be removed at noon Sunday to the church for the services. |
